Glymur Waterfalls
Glymur was the first hike I did, as it was fairly close to Reykjavik and I was still getting used to my rental car (hadn’t driven a manual transmission in a long time!), and the driving experience in Iceland. I chose not to complete the entire loop, but rather turned around near the top. I thought the views were better to return the way I came rather than away from the canyon. This was a fairly easy 4.5 mile (7.2 km) hike out and back.
